When to bring us in
We are the extended team of your engineering department for developing new functions, modules and machines. Builders bring us in when:
- the engineering department has a workload peak or a tight deadline;
- new modules or machine parts have to be developed;
- non-standard functions have to be integrated;
- a customer asks for a special function the internal team struggles to follow;
- mechanical, automation and software skills are needed straight away, without hiring.
What we develop
- Stations and modulesNew stations, modules and functions to integrate into your machines and lines.
- Complete linesComplete mechanical design of assembly and testing lines, with manual and automatic stations and robots.
- New machines for your catalogueComplete design of new machines, from which you develop the versions for your catalogue.
- Changes and new formatsAdapting existing machines to new formats and modifying parts and plants.
- OEM machines and special machine toolsMachines to specification supplied as OEM and special machine tools, up to the first prototype.
- Feasibility studiesMachine architecture, critical points and order of magnitude of the budget, before you invest.
How we work with your engineering department
We work in our own engineering office in Navacchio, starting from your technical specification. It often starts with a few simple stations; over time builders entrust us with the complete mechanical design of new lines.
We integrate the requests that emerge from end users during the project and design in contact with suppliers to optimise costs. Every day we use Creo Parametric, Solid Edge, Inventor and SolidWorks, together with other CAD and simulation software.
We work directly on your models and in your CAD, so the designs go into your archive with no conversions. The drawings and models we develop remain yours.
We can work on a time basis, as extra capacity for your engineering department, or at a fixed price, on a defined activity. And we can start at short notice.
What we deliver
- general layout and 3D models of the stations, with selection of commercial components;
- manufacturing drawings and production bills of materials;
- wiring diagrams, PLC software and operator interfaces;
- structural analysis and CE marking documentation;
- support for manufacturing, commissioning and acceptance testing.
Design only, or build as well
We can take care of the design only, leaving manufacturing and assembly to you. Where needed, our assembly and testing department also handles component procurement, manufacturing, assembly and testing, up to the first prototype or the OEM machine. For complete custom lines see also our special machines.
Ergonomics, safety and compliance
In manual stations we meet strict ergonomic requirements for the operator. We prepare the CE marking documentation and help you understand what changes with the Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, which applies from 20 January 2027. When structural checks are needed, we carry them out with FEM analysis.
How we work
