Who we work for
Since 2016 we have been developing accessibility and home care products for the companies that manufacture them. We follow the product from concept to series production, including supplier selection and production start-up. We work on:
- stairlifts and chairlifts;
- lifting platforms;
- access systems for people with reduced mobility.

Find out moreThe 4 stages of product development
- Conceptual designWe find and test the possible solutions.
- Detailed designWe develop and refine the chosen concept.
- Prototyping and testingWe build and test the pre-production prototype.
- Production supportWe find and follow the suppliers for the series.
What we do for home care
- Feasibility and specificationFeasibility studies and definition of the product specification.
- Industrial designIndustrial design of the shapes.
- Detailed designMechanical and electromechanical design and design of injection-moulded plastic components.
- Calculation and simulationFEM calculations and simulation, structural analysis and sizing.
- PrototypesBuild and testing of functional prototypes.
- IndustrialisationEngineering for series production, production cost reduction, supplier selection and assembly optimisation.
Standards and CE marking
Stairlifts and platforms fall under the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. We design to the harmonised standards of the EN 81 series: EN 81-40 for stairlifts and inclined lifting platforms, EN 81-41 for vertical lifting platforms.
We support manufacturers with the technical documentation required for CE marking and sign a non-disclosure agreement before going into the details of the project.
Frequently asked questions
-
Which accessibility products do you develop?
Stairlifts, chairlifts, lifting platforms and access systems for people with reduced mobility.
-
To which standards do you design?
To the harmonised standards of the EN 81 series: EN 81-40 for stairlifts and inclined platforms, EN 81-41 for vertical lifting platforms.
-
Do you also follow production start-up?
Yes: we follow the product through to series production, including supplier selection and production start-up.
-
Can you reduce the production cost of an existing product?
Yes: through engineering for series production and assembly optimisation we work on reducing production costs.
-
Do you sign a non-disclosure agreement?
Yes, we sign a non-disclosure agreement before going into the details of the project.
-
Do you work with companies outside Tuscany?
