The project
We supported a shipyard with the structural analysis of composite hull parts of large yachts, and with the ABS classification society for the approval of the calculation files.
How we worked
The checks were carried out with FEM simulation, applying the classification society rules for composite structures. The results went into the calculation file, which we followed with the classification society through to approval.
